Notice of Rulemaking Hearing

Official notices of rulemaking hearings are posted here to provide the public with information about the time, date, and location of the hearings. The notice also includes a link to the proposed rules that will be discussed during the hearing.  Following the hearing, any necessary changes are incorporated into what is known as the "rulemaking hearing rule."  The rulemaking hearing rule must then be approved by the Board of Trustees.  The final rule usually takes effect 90 days after being filed with the Secretary of State.
